Nobody's Fault - "Help Yourself"

Nobody’s Fault, a Hard Rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin released their debut EP “Help Yourself” November 2018. The three song release revitalizes the metal tinged mainstream rock of the early 2000s. Nobody’s Fault are inspired by bands like Three Day’s Grace and Breaking Benjamin. The trio is fronted by vocalist and guitarist Eddie Ahrenhoerster with Stephen Jensen on bass and John Pankow on drums. Two of the songs off the EP, “Help Yourself” and “Drag,” are filled with powerful drums, heavy bass riffs, and heavily distorted guitar. “Regression,” the second track on the EP is an evocative, surfy, vocal-centric song perfect for your next winter card ride. Five Years of After Hours Radio

Five years-ago in the DIY music co-ops outside the University of Michigan five friends started a band that is still going strong today. This Saturday January 12 is After Hour Radio’s 5th anniversary and they are celebrating with a show you won’t want to miss. The show is at Club Above in Ann Arbor, MI and features Stop Watch, Summer Like the Season, and Approachable Minorities. Tickets for the show are available via Eventbrite. New Music from NIIGHTS

There’s some new music to listen to for your weekend. Niights from Cleveland, Ohio released part one of their album Hellebores on Friday. Hellebores Pt. 1, loaded with ambience and addictive melodies showcases the band’s Dream Pop and Shoegaze side. Hellebores Pt two takes a darker turn and will feature the heavier, more metal tendencies of the band. The entire LP, which has already garnered the attention of Stereogum and Fader, was recorded and produced by Platinum Producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank, Jack’s mannequin) and is being released through Sun Pedal Recordings.
