Mikie Mayo: Doing More With 'Beautiful Mess' EP

Philadelphia native Mikie Mayo has a new EP out on all streaming platforms! The music combines emo/punk sounds with electronics and hip hop for a fresh modern sound. Fans of blackbear, $uicide Boy$, and lil Aaron will feel at home listening to this EP. Some tracks like "Bloody Mary" and "Walking Dead" swing more to the hip hop side of things whiles others like "Rehab Shawty" are straight emo with auto tuned vocals. The five song release covers themes of drug addiction, love, and loss giving the EP a meditative edge. These songs are original and catchy, my personal favorite song is "Rehab Shawty."
